8. the water demon only is appeased while swimming
7. the air demon is only happy when he is allowed to jump on trampolines, run around screaming, or ride his bike with no helmet
6. when throwing a tantrum, they never actually hit me, but get really close. this is obviously their demonic powers failing in the mortal plane.
5. they only eat chicken nuggets, a play off the traditional sacrifice for raising demons.
4. they have mortal minions (“friends”) who do their demonic bidding.
3. they shriek at the mention of “homework,” “toothbrush,” or “time-out”
2. they kick me out of various rooms or tell that I can’t “look directly at them right now.”
